One Session: 2 hours
Date: Tuesday, January 15, 2019; 6:30-8:30pm
Level: Advanced Beginner
Teacher: Maggie Pascoe
The Luna Cowl, a scrumptious neck warmer composed entirely of cables, was originally written for Fyberspates, Faery Wings sport weight yarn but can easily be modified to accommodate other weights as well.
This fun class is perfect for those who have a basic knowledge of knitting and is suitable for advanced beginners and intermediate knitters alike. The cable pattern is worked in one direction repeatedly, making it great for the first time cable knitter, or those who would like to solidify their cabling skills. It is also great for those who might need a refresher for knitting in the round (though we do suggest already having some experience with knitting in the round).
A chunky yarn like Quince and Co. Puffin is a great yarn choice for beginners, while those who have knit cables before can consider a smaller gauge yarn like Fyberspates Faery Wings.

*Your teacher will be ready to help you shop for the perfect materials at your first meeting. Learning about the appropriate materials for the project is a part of the class. If there is a specific yarn you'd like to use from your stash, please bring that but be open to learning about the appropriate materials for the project. You may need to adjust for the scope of the class. Needle sets are encouraged as they are the best way to adjust for appropriate gauge.
