Brioche Basics: The Kodiak Cowl

Brioche got you shakin' in your (hand-knit) booties? No more! Join Liz for this two part cowl class focused on brioche technique. Master this super plush, extra cozy knitting style that creates a thick lofty, stretchy, stretchy fabric. Students will gain the skills they need to add this sophisticated stitch to their repertoire, opening them up to a plethora of patterns.Supplies (all available at Finch!):

- knitting needles*
- darning needle
- stitch markers
*Your teacher will be ready to help you shop for the perfect materials at your first meeting. Learning about the appropriate materials for the project is a part of the class. If there is a specific yarn you'd like to use from your stash, please bring that but be open to learning about the appropriate materials for the project. You may need to adjust for the scope of the class. Needle sets are encouraged as they are the best way to adjust for appropriate gauge.
