Knit Boot Cuffs
These knitted boot cuffs are a great way to learn cabling using one skein of worsted yarn! They’re a quick knit for winter days, or make a perfect handmade gift for a friend. Students will learn how to cable in the round using Double Pointed Needles (DPNs), and how to add a button. Students should know how to knit and purl in the round. Experience with DPNs a plus, but not required.
First class will cover casting on, knitting the ribbed round, and learning the cable pattern. Second class will be the ribbed button tab and binding off.
Pattern: One Skein Boot Toppers, to be purchased by student from Ravelry or in the shop.

Cable needle; stitch markers; tapestry needle for weaving in ends; 2 buttons
Dates: January 9th and 16th, (6-9 and 6-8pm)
